Jessica Jennings, MD

 

Associate Program Director

Dr. Jessica Jennings is a board-certified pediatrician who has been delivering compassionate, community-focused care to children and families since 2012. Originally from Glens Falls, New York, she relocated to the Ft. Lauderdale area as a child and has since made Florida her home. 

Dr. Jennings earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, followed by her medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. She completed her pediatric residency at USF, where she developed a solid foundation in comprehensive pediatric care. 

After residency, Dr. Jennings practiced at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, deepening her commitment to serving underserved populations. In 2015, she joined Tampa Family Health Centers, where she continues to provide high-quality care with dedication and empathy. 

Since 2021, Dr. Jennings has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU KPCOM), Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), and Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (OCOM). She is enthusiastic about mentoring medical students and fostering a culture of excellence and compassion in clinical practice. 

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Jennings enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Together, they love exploring Tampa’s vibrant community, relaxing at the beach, attending live music events, or browsing local outdoor markets. Dr. Jennings is proud to call Tampa home and remains deeply committed to promoting the health and well-being of her community.
