
Susan Hamoui, DO

Dr. Susan Hamoui is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Mathematics. She earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, and completed her Pediatrics Residency at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
After residency, Dr. Hamoui returned to Florida to practice general pediatrics in private practice for over three years, where she held multiple leadership roles and gained experience in pediatric care. Her passion for community health led her to join Tampa Family Health Centers, where she continues to serve underserved populations with dedication and empathy.
Dr. Hamoui is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics for Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU KPCOM), Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), and Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (OCOM). She is committed to mentoring medical students and fostering a learning environment focused on excellence, equity, and patient-centered care.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Hamoui enjoys exploring Tampa’s vibrant food scene, traveling with her husband and daughter, and spending time with their two Australian Shepherds. A devoted Disney enthusiast, she also loves visiting the parks and staying up to date with all things Disney.
