
Kelly Willett, MD
Core Faculty
Dr. Kelly Willett serves as Core Faculty for the Pediatrics Residency Program at Tampa Family Health Centers, where she combines her love for clinical medicine and medical education to support the next generation of pediatricians. Originally from Virginia, Dr. Willett knew from a young age that she wanted to become a pediatrician. She earned her degree in Cellular Biology from Christopher Newport University and went on to receive her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Now a dedicated general pediatrician at TFHC, Dr. Willett provides compassionate care to a vibrant and diverse patient population, having treated children from over 73 countries. Her love for languages has helped her connect more deeply with families, improving her Spanish through patient interactions and learning phrases in many other languages.
Dr. Willett has a special interest in caring for children with developmental disabilities and has been involved with the Special Olympics since high school, volunteering as a gymnastics coach. Outside of work, she enjoys beach days, traveling the world (including EPCOT’s version), and spending time with her family, friends, and loved ones.
